Maybe once or twice a century there is enough rain in Death Valley to make the wild flowers bloom. Since this was one of those years, we naturally had to go, and we're glad we did.

Apparently a lot of folks had the same idea because they were everywhere, but you can't blame them. The sites were incredible. Unfortunately the day we went was very wind, overcast, and a little rainy at times so we didn't get a lot of good pictures.

To save space I've only included a few of the dozens of shots of fields of yellow flowers. Figured if you looked at a couple you had a good idea of what the other 30 shots looked like
